NONEXISTER A Promise In The Air

A video shot across several countries; in Italy, the settings built by Ultrastudios.

For Borotalco.tv's Italian production, Ultrastudios was responsible for the production design of the scenes shot in Abruzzo and the Marche: the settings, the objects, light as a material of the set. Set decorator: Gioia Di Girolamo.

In Silvi Marina, in the province of Teramo. Born in 1965, when Amerigo Tucci bought an old farmhouse, it became one of the best-known summer dance halls and clubs in central Italy: live concerts, sometimes played inside a huge wooden barrel, and on stage Raffaella Carrà, Ornella Vanoni, Patty Pravo, the Pooh.

It closed around 2008. The set was born among what remains: the dome, the violet mosaic columns, the banquettes, the empty dance floor.

Besides La Silvanella, a venue and a street in San Benedetto del Tronto, and the beach at dawn, with the mirrored columns planted in the water.
